Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a SPY-1B/D Radar Technician and Radar System Controller to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Pearl Harbor, HI. Put your years of Naval technical experience into a future of excellence of Navy training. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's in training the US Navy in Integrated Air and Missile Defense. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Waterfront Training organization supporting the Center for Surface Combat Systems in providing training to all US Navy platforms while focusing on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Advanced Warfare Training..

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Conduct Self Assessment Groom Training on the Maintenance of the SPY-1B/D radar.
* Instruct the Radar System Controllers on the tactical application of the SPY-1B/D radar in the Advanced Warfare Training continuum.
* Support CSCS Detachments Pearl Harbor and Yokosuka as the only contract SPY-1B/D technician.
* Assist in the training of military trainers stationed in both Detachments Pearl Harbor and Yokosuka.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
* High School.
* 10 years Naval experience.
* SPY-1B/D NEC 1119.
* Qualified Radar System Controller (RSC) on an Aegis ship.
* NEC 9502, or equivalent Journeyman Instructor Training.
* Position requires a current Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
* SPY-1D(V) NEC 1337 or experience on the SPY1-D(V).
* Master Training Specialist.
* Position prefers a candidate with a current Secret Clearance.
