This is a dynamic team environment and the Program Cost Control Analyst will work with minimal or no direction, participate in determining and management of objectives along with planning and scheduling activities to accomplish those objectives. The Program Cost Control Analyst will implement and manage EVMS and other program planning and analysis on assigned programs, coordinate and assure accurate external data submittals, prepare CPR & variance explanations & submit in accordance with Northrop Grumman Policy. Provide Program Manager and IPTs with program cost visibility and address problems. Coordinate, prepare and present business data for program management and business management reviews. Coordinate and prepare internal reports and presentations (IPRS,Dashboards, BARs,etc).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors' degree in a business related discipline and minimum 6 years experience or minimum 4 years experience with a Masters. * Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards associated with a standard defense industry cost control system. Full knowledge of industry practices. Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks. * This position will have frequent internal company and external contacts, represent the organization on specific projects, will interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations and will make presentations to various management levels so professionalism and communication skills are critical. * Highly competent computer skills are required with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially Excel and PowerPoint. General knowledge of SAP. * U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
* Highly competent with SAP, MPM, and/or MS Project. * MBA * Successful past experience with government audits on EV programs
