Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Columbia, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Cyber Intelligence Division/Essex business unit - A market leader which innovates a culture of creativity, investment, and teamwork to solve the Intelligence Community's toughest problems. Roles and Responsibilities: The Information Systems Security Engineer is responsible for overall Information Assurance (IA) support to multiple projects and will perform the work required to achieve Certification and Accreditation (C&A) for hardware and software. The work involves development and maintenance of required documentation and working with technical personnel and customer personnel to achieve and maintain C&A.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: * BS degree and 9 years of experience in Information Assurance/ Information System Security Engineering. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. * At least 5 recent years experience with Defense in Depth principles and technology to include Access control, Authorization, Identification and authentication, Public Key Infrastructure and Network and enterprise security architecture. * Demonstrated experience applying security risk assessment methodology to system development to include Threat model development, Vulnerability assessments and Security risk analysis. * Demonstrated experience applying systems engineering skills to provide documentation for the C&A process to include Functional Analysis to create a Security Concept of Operations (SeCONOP) within the context of C&A, Security Requirements Analysis to create a Security Requirements Traceability Matrix (SRTM) and Test Planning to create test plans and procedures to verify compliance with security requirements. * Intelligence Community Experience * Position requires a current TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
