LOGISTICS 2020 has a challenging opportunity as Web Designer in the Washington D.C. Metro area. Some of the responsibilities will include the following:
Responsibilites/Requirements:
Thorough grasp of cross-platform cross-browser compatibility issues and (classified networks and MS Internet Explorer/Firefox) and code optimization.
Comprehensive internet background including e-mail, ftp telnet, and most UNIX shells.
Strong personal skills including focused listening, logical thinking, and working in a high-pressure team-oriented environment.
Rapidly adapts to new technologies, standards, and ideas.
Innovative ideas and to interpret/implement leadership web-development goals for web design using MS Sharepoint Designer.
Manipulate databases or Intelligence Community deployment requirements, both for positions and personnel.
Create a dynamic interface between database and website to respond to varied queries for Intelligence Community global requirements.
Coordinate regularly with support elements on database updates and desired reporting vehicles.
Develop and maintain ops data base.
Must have hands-on computer and internet experience; web development proficiency; and programming skills.
Experience with SHAREPOINT essential. Extensive knowledge of HTML, DHTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, PERL (CGI), cookies, MySQL, MSSQL, Access, Oracle 81, Photoshop, version control systems Dreamweaver and Six Apart's Movable Type and related content management systems, along with Search Engine Optimization techniques and analytic tracking methods.
Experience with various shopping cart back-ends for E-Commerce applications, Graphic design and Photo editing, and Analysis/Design Methodologies: UML, OOAD, Unified Modeling Process.
Comfortable with Quark Xpress, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Photoshop, Joomla, and JavaScript. Close follower of Web 2.0 developments.
