We are currently hiring for Tier I Helpdesk Administrators to work at Hickam AFB in Honolulu, AL. We have over 10 openings. Positions may require shift work. No relocation will be offered for these positions.

Duties/Skills/Experience:
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced changing environment
Understanding of Windows-based applications
Familiarity with relevant operating systems, Microsoft Suite and products and networking
Ability to recognize priority issues and escalate accordingly
Ability to translate technical terms into non-technical language
Understanding of computer terms and acronyms
Ability to learn new processes and procedures
1 or more years experience in a Call Center or Help Desk environment in lieu of certifications (A+/Net+)
Position requires sufficient knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, workflow processes and procedures to resolve most inquires independently
Good analytical and communication skills, sound judgment and the ability to work effectively with the military and other staff
Previous helpdesk support is highly desired
VPN support is desired
Pluses are: A+ or Net+ Certification, an Associate's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, active security clearance and/or Sec+ certification

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a citizen and be able to hold a security clearance. You do not need a current/active clearance to apply, but must be able to pass a government security background investigation.
