Minimum of 15 years in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. Ability to communicate directions and provide guidance to junior programmer/analysts, as required
Minimum 8 years developing software using Java. At least 6 years of this experience must have been obtained in the last 8 years
Minimum 6 years developing software for UNIX and Linux operating systems.
Experience planning, accomplishing goals, complicated tasks, and providing consultation on complex projects as top-level contributor or specialist
Implementation of Web Services and Web Services clients (i.e. SOAP, REST, Spring, Apach AXIS) .
At least 8 years in programming and development of application software for complex systems and software testing
Experience architecting, designing, developing, testing, and supporting integration of software systems with functional requirements

Experience in development within the Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
Experience architecting, designing, developing, testing, and supporting integration of Hadoop and MapReduce frameworks
Experience working with relational databases (i.e. MySQL, Oracle)
Experience with version control using Subversion
Basic understanding of testing with JUnit
