The Engineer will provide project management/resource management consultation services for HQ AFCESA in the Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization Program at Tyndall AFB, FL. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, programming, design and construction management work for substantial multi-phase new construction, renovation, maintenance/repair, and modernization projects for a variety of real property facilities and utility systems utilizing professional engineering knowledge; will serve as the engineering consultant on all design and construction aspects of assigned projects; and will coordinate the preparation and review of A&E and construction statements of work (SOW), coordinate projects with other engineers or with architects and serve as the field engineer consultant. Will also provide technical assistance, training and planning guidance on all aspects of engineering related to base-level civil engineering programs. Requirements include: Bachelor's degree with 10 years experience; minimum of 6 years of experience must involve facility/utility design, maintenance or construction management experience; will require detailed knowledge of engineering lifecycle parameters, strong understanding of construction design and analysis requirements, experience in the project management of construction projects and AE studies and designs; experience with one or more phases of the project engineering cycle and thorough knowledge of all phases of the project engineering life cycle.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and 10 years experience overall with 6 years of experience must involve analysis of either civil, electrical or mechanical engineering systems or data. Must have detailed experience with and thorough knowledge of one or more phases of the systems engineering life cycle.
* Project Management experience.
* MS Office competent.
* Experience as a project manager
Preferred Qualifications:
* PE/RA/MS desired.
* Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering and energy project experience desired. AutoCAD competent desired.
* Project Management experience.
* AF/DoD Civil Engineering experience a plus.
