August Schell, a preferred provider of Professional Services including Data Center Automation, Engineering and Cloud Computing solutions to the Federal Government, seeks an Oracle DBA to support a recently awarded contract. If you have a can-do attitude and superior Oracle skills, we would like to speak with you. The Oracle DBA will provide support for development, test and production environments, including the setup of new servers (Oracle Application Server on Windows platform), and setup of new databases and objects within the databases. Other responsibilities will include Oracle database administration, Oracle backup and recovery, performance and tuning, security, legacy data move and cleansing
Requirements:
• At least 8 years of Technical experience, 5 of which have been specialized as an Oracle DBA and more specifically 8i/9i/10G/11G DBA experience (on windows platform).
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Experience with installation and configuration of Oracle Application Server.
• Experience with Oracle application integration.
• Scripting experience.
• Secret clearance.
• Superior client facing and communications skills.
• High work ethics and professional demeanor.
