Required Experience:
-A minimum of ten (10) years of experience working on software intensive projects.
-A minimum Five (5) years experience developing software/systems using Java.
-A minimum Five (5) years experience in graphical user interface design/development.
-A minimum Two (2) years experience working with the following Java-J2EE and related APIs and Frameworks: Hibernate and/or JPA; Spring or other dependency injection; Maven build environment; and JDBC.
-A minimum One (1) year Open GL programming using Java’s bindings to Open GL (JOGL).
-A minimum Two (2) years developing sophisticated user interfaces and data visualization components with Java Swing.
-A minimum Two (2) years experience using Eclipse RCP to develop user interfaces and advanced data visualization including experience with Plug-in creation, Plug-in deployment, and event handling.
-A minimum Two (2) years web development including experience with SOAP, REST, Servlets/JSPs, Style sheets, XML, HTML.
Desired Software Experience in order of importance:
-Experience developing/maintaining code for following visualization components and sub-systems: Geo Viz-2D; Geo Viz-3D; Distance Chart; Distance Chart-3D; Event Heat Map; Pre-computed Event Heat Map thumbnails; Animated analytic; Auto-generated Target Report; and Target Management
-Familiarity with the data model including the Java Object and Oracle representations of the model
-Familiarity with Cloud Technologies including Apache Hadoop and CloudBase.
-Familiarity with alternative client frameworks such as JSF, GWT, and/or Seam.
-Experience working with the R6 BlackBook Graph Data Model (legacy data model).
