Job Description:
This position is for a full-time Program Manager (PM) providing on-site program/project management support to Air Force programs at WPAFB, OH.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: requirements analysis and monitoring/creating project schedules as well as, risk analysis and reporting. Must have experience in leading and supporting staff meetings & programs as well as engineering reviews. Experience in tracking/reporting contractor task performance, monitoring/forecasting cost & budget Information is required. Earned Value Management (EVM) Analysis, quality assurance/compliance support is mandatory, as well as documentation/milestone preparation, contract evaluation support and strategic planning.
The PM is responsible for monitoring and controlling cost, schedule, performance, & compliance factors throughout all phases of the acquisition process.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience leading/managing cross-functional teams of 20+ individuals is required. The candidate must have excellent oral/written communication skills and the ability to brief senior customer/company leadership on project status. Candidates must also have experience with the Microsoft Office Product Suite (to include PowerPoint, Excel, & MS Project).
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 Years Work Experience in a DoD Program Management-related Position
Masters Degree in Business, Management, Acquisitions, Operations Research or Related Field
Level III APDP Certification in Program Management
Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Information Technology, or Airframe Acquisitions Experience
Desired Qualifications:
Level II or III APDP Certification in Contracting or Systems Engineering
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Additional Professional Certifications/Degrees (i.e. PhD, CDFM, CCE/A)
Demonstrated Experience in Systems Engineering and/or Contracting
ACAT 1D Project Management Experience
