The Manager of Survivable Supportability reports to the Manager of LO Design Integration. The position is a functional management position for our Survivable Supportability Engineering Group in Southern California. In this role you would be responsible for: providing support to evolving and mature programs across the Northrop Grumman Enterprise; directing all related IR&D and CRAD activities; and for developing and generating new RF, IR, Visual and Acoustic signature management business in both production and flightline environments. Approximately 40% of your time would be spent supporting new advanced design initiatives. You will also be responsible for: managing activities related to the development of experimental tools; materials and electrical measurement; and for vehicle/model Radar Cross section ( RCS) measurements. You will work closely with the Logistics Group, collecting technical requirements and developing technologies and engineering solutions to support them. You and your team will advise the Test and Evaluation organization by providing requirements for test assets and by providing engineering expertise for test asset procurement, calibration, and operation.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in EE, ME, Physics, or a related field with 8 years experience in LO Design. This position requires a Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in EE, ME, Physics, or a related field with 15 years experience in LO Design.
