We currently have an immediate opening for a .NET software developer who will be responsible for development, performance, support and maintenance of ASP .NET web applications in a high-paced, high-demand team environment.

JOB DUTIES:
*Design, develop, and implement Web-enabled applications using ASP .NET 2.0/3.5, JavaScript, Visual Studio 2005/2008, Microsoft Team System, Cascading Style Sheets, HTML, basic Javascript and other Microsoft-based technologies.
*Transform complex customer requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutions.
*Utilize third-party software development kits and API’s to rapidly develop basic application solutions.
*Monitor IIS 6.0/7.0 application servers and rapidly troubleshoot and fix performance or functionality issues that arise.
*Adapt off-the-shelf solutions to meet government customer needs and requirements.
*Responsible for the development of system testing plans and perform unit level, system level, integration, and regression testing.
*Work with Business Process Analysts to design and develop solutions that meet business requirements.
*Work in a 2-5 person collaborative agile team environment on a quarterly-changing basis.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
*Prior experience developing with the .NET Framework 2.0 and greater, preferably with ASP .NET web applications utilizing either C# or Visual Basic .NET.
*Familiarity with Agile software development methodology, processes, and techniques.
*Prior experience working with Microsoft Team System and Team Foundation Server.
*Thorough knowledge of HTML and CSS.
*Experience with and working knowledge of Javascript.
*Experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 and writing Transact-SQL queries and stored procedures.
*Hands-on experience utilizing and configuring IIS 6.0 and 7.0 as an application server for delivering web application solutions.
*Knowledge of MOSS 2007 and experience working with web parts is highly preferred but not required.
*Ability to learn at a fast pace and be able to rapidly learn and leverage third-party tools, SDKs, and APIs.
*Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
*Strong customer service skills and customer relationship management experience.
*Excellent organization, communication and writing skills, and have the ability to express yourself in technical discussion via strategy, implementation and design of application environments.
*Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills, with the ability to lead and manage the effort of others when necessary.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
*College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science, and 2 years or greater work experience in the technology field.

CLEARANCES:
*Current TS clearance with SSBI conducted in with/in the last 36 months
