Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems (NGES) seeks to fill the position of Director, Programs, at Amherst Systems in Buffalo, New York. An organization focused on development and production of state-of-the-art Simulation Systems solutions. This position includes responsibility for strategy development, business capture, program management and organizational development, as well as profit/loss objectives for capturing and growing the next generation Simulation Systems solutions for the sector. The Business Area Director duties will include management of the portfolio within Amherst Systems in support of meeting the AOP new awards and sales goals; ensuring program execution and program objectives are met; capture new strategic program opportunities that position NGES for future opportunities; and oversight/execution of NCTA in support of business/enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of related experience.
* Demonstrated success in technical/business roles with experience in manufacturing as well as program management.
* Prior experience in multi-functional and/or program leadership positions.
* U.S. citizen and SECRET clearance or higher required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Engineering undergraduate degree and MBA
* 10+ years of technical experience, multi-functional management and/or program management, strategy development, and financial understanding.
* Demonstrated ability to manage programs to meet cost/performance/schedule requirements.
* Success in working directly with customers to develop technical solutions.
