Represents the company contract as the prime technical manager on several IT projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between Government and contract IT Managers. Oversee several technical areas on the customer site. Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. Ensures major projects and IT schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across organizational functional groups Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Leads and directs one or more project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organizations. Prepares project execution plan and identifies appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team. Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget and meets technical requirements of the assignment. Keeps current on advances in the field of IT. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Applies extensive technical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD. IT Project Management experience, Windows and UNIX Environments, System Architecture, MS Office, excellent verbal and written communications
Preferred Qualifications: HelpDesk services, ORACLE, TeamCenter, Common Source Databases, C/C++, Java, Air Force or DoD work environments
