SharePoint Architect / Developer
Springfield, VA
We are looking for a Sharepoint Architect/Developer to join a rapidly growing organization in Northern Va. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the design/development of sharepoint deployments to include custom web parts, workflows, InfoPath forms, business data catalogs and other aspects of MOSS. The candidate will Develop and maintain metadata, in addition to maintaining search scopes, keywords, synonyms, and best bets.
Skill Requirements:
15 years IT experience.
5+ years experience as a SharePoint / Web Part Developer with the Microsoft .NET Architecture framework, making use of multiple data sources and ASP.NET technologies
3+ years developing MOSS web parts
3+ years developing custom web parts
3+ years of integration of varying data sources into MOSS
3+ years using Visual Studio 2005/2008
3+ years working with Visual Source Safe or equivalent source control software tools
Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server (2005 and later)
Basic understanding of Workflows in MOSS
Basic understanding of ASP.NET Web Development (2.0 and later) inside and/or outside of MOSS
Microsoft MCTS (or similar development certifications) will be a plus
Candidates should possess and be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following:
Development of Web Parts for MOSS
Visual Source Safe or equivalent source control software
Working knowledge and proficiency of the following is also preferred:
SCRUM and Agile methodologies
Microsoft Project Server
AJAX / Silverlight / .NET 3.0 +
Professional Requirements
Professional consulting experience and background required.
Proven strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation experience.
Must be a team player and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Self-Starter that has the ability to work under general direction.
Ability to balance work across multiple projects concurrently.
EDUCATION: Must hold a Masters Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other IT related field.
CITIZENSHIP: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
CLEARANCE: Must have or be able to a Position of Trust.
