The Northrop Grumman Team is seeking energetic software engineers who excel in a technically challenging and innovative environment. Multiple software engineering positions available for engineers with Java and C# skills on programs of National Importance. Must demonstrate the ability to learn independently and develop designs with new technology. The Software Engineers will work on small teams on a full-cycle software development efforts, providing essential software design, development and test engineering. The ideal candidates will possess an understanding of object oriented development technologies and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts. Development will be performed in both Windows and Linux environments. The software engineer plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field with 2 years experience in Object Oriented software design such as Java or C#. TS/SCI clearance.
