C# Developer needed to support multiple .NET web applications on an Oracle database backend for a Department of Homeland Security Agency.
Primary & Critical Accountabilities
• Develop, Support & Maintain Several .NET Software Applications
• Act as a "domain expert" with regard to .NET and existing .NET applications
• Discover methods and processes to solve complex problems in .NET
• Troubleshooting of problems and thorough testing of results.
Required Qualifications:
• C# and/or VB.NET, ADO.NET/ODP.NET, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT
• Excellent application development skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver well-designed solutions
• Demonstrated use of .NET application development technologies and knowledge of .NET framework.
• Solid understanding and practical use of Microsoft .NET APIs, development patterns and best practices.
• Oracle experience.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL or Transact SQL stored procedures.
• Basic knowledge of web hosting, operating systems and network
• Experience with testing and verifying requirements.
• Must be U.S. Citizen able to pass criminal record and credit check
Experience:
• BSCS/Associates CS or BSEE preferred with 2-5 years experience or Bachelors 4 to 7 years of hands-on application development experience.
• At least 2-5 years of experience with .NET development including application development, testing and maintenance
• Iterative/Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) development experience
• Ability to solve problems and finish requirements as they are assigned on deadline.
Other desired Qualifications:
• MOSS 2007 C# Development experience. Plus not required.
• InfoPath and SharePoint knowledge a plus not required
