JOB TITLE: Jr. Software Engineer
Job Description:
•Monitor system usage and performance statistics and provide software engineering expertise to a team sustaining and enhancing an operational DIA information system.
•Administer business intelligence application (WebFOCUS).
•Development of Java web applications.
•Participate in technical design discussions and planning meetings.
•Adhere to established standards and procedures in coding and implementation.
•Ensures efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
Required Skills:
•2 to 4 years of IT experience, preferably including some amount of Intel Community experience.
•At least 2 years of hands-on experience building web-based applications employing the following technologies: Java, XML, Web services, Apache.
•Experience with performance management and metrics. Knowledge of business intelligence systems such as WebFOCUS.
•Familiarity with tools and methodologies supporting application design and development.
•Experience in an Agile Development environment.
•Strong client relationship skills.
•Must have active TS/SCI clearance or be TS/SCI eligible
