Task Description:

The Contractor shall provide System Administration support services. The Contractor shall work with customer sites and staff to provide Tier 3 level expertise and efficient and timely issue resolutions. The Contractor shall work with sites and staff to plan and implement support services across the enterprise and implement network sustainment strategies. The Contractor, shall analyze current services, such as Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Exchange, Blackberry, and Reference Information Storage System (RISS), and provide a status report before and after remediation actions are engineered and executed.
5.3.1. The Contractor shall engineer an environment in support of deployment to all desktop and laptops in conjunction with USAMITC contractor and government staff.
5.3.2. The Contractor shall validate Microsoft AD, Microsoft Exchange, Blackberry, and RISS deployment plans for compliance with existing performance limitations of the associated software and the enterprise.
5.3.3. The Contractor shall perform training sessions for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 support staff, to include troubleshooting processes.
5.3.4. The Contractor shall reconfigure Microsoft AD, Microsoft Exchange, Blackberry, and RISS servers and components for conditions as determined to improve and sustain performance and scalability.
5.3.5. The Contractor shall engineer and conduct a disaster recovery scenario for all supported device types within the enterprise.
5.3.6. The Contractor shall provide best practices for user education and communication.
5.3.7. The Contractor shall review USAMITC’s FAQs and provide additional Knowledge Base articles applicable to the present environment.
5.3.8. The Contractor shall provide engineering details in a customer modifiable Visio format as requested.
5.3.9. The Contractor shall provide a detailed description of Microsoft AD, Microsoft Exchange, Blackberry, and RISS behavior in an environment lacking Global Information Network Architecture (GINA) compliance and uses Smart Card authentication, to include diagrams related to the user-mode processes in a customer modifiable Visio format.
5.3.10. The Contractor shall engineer daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checklists for enterprise monitoring and preventative maintenance.
5.3.11. The Contractor shall communicate with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) per protocol.
5.3.12. The Contractor shall communicate effectively both orally and written with senior management, as well as with other technical specialists.
5.3.13. The Contractor shall adhere to proper security and certification procedures, such as the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and the Certificate of Networthiness (CoN). The Contractor shall enforce security and provides documentation to meet Approval to Operate (ATO) and DIACAP requirements.
