INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY AND ASSURANCE EXPERTS
CTC is seeking qualified candidates for a number of technical positions related to information security and assurance for several large systems development and support contracts. Our team will support the client through development, upgrading and/or enhancing software and/ or full system solutions using integrated Free Open Source Software (FOSS), Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS), Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) hardware and software components per client requirements. Additionally, our team will support the development life-cycle activities to include some or all of the following as directed by the appropriate task order: architecture, performance and functional specification activities; introduction of new requirements; hardware, software, and systems engineering development; creation of design specifications for developed systems, documentation creation for developed systems, systems acquisition activities, systems certification and accreditation (C&A); test and evaluation (T&E) support; training development and support to ensure that analytic tools can be used effectively, supported, and integrated into the operating environment.
In accordance with specific contract requirements, we are seeking candidates in the following technical areas:
Information Systems Security Engineering
Information Systems Security Analysis
Information Assurance (application and testing)
Information Assurance Compliance
Information Assurance Training and Auditing, and other areas
Requirements:
Candidates should possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the design, development, engineering, integration, testing and/or consultation and training in information systems security and assurance as related to complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, participating in systems requirements reviews, supporting development of CONOPS and interface standards, supporting development of secure systems architectures, performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis and security testing, and providing input to, modification of, and/or support for Systems Security Plans (SSPs) and Authorization Agreements (SSAAs) development and other related security documentation; in addition to conducting Defense-in-Depth security analysis and providing support for security training and compliance checks.
The successful candidates must have proven experience with some of the following tasks:
Performing a variety of tasks related to knowledge dissemination to groups of analytic workforce and demonstrating an ability to convey new security requirements, concepts, techniques and technologies to analytic and management workforce and facilitating transference of acquired knowledge to the systems development workforce and analysts.
Experience in analytical environments/intelligence production organizations.
Applying security requirements within an agile development model.
Integrating information systems into SOA or on to ESB architectures through sound security methodologies.
Supporting the development of secure solutions integrating and extending FOSS, COTS and GOTS products.
Developing training plans for information systems security requirements dissemination.
Conducting audits on systems development and operational systems support efforts, among other duties.
Candidates should have a DoDD 8570.01-M compliant certification (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, SCNA, etc.). Other certifications of interest include: ISSEP, CISM, GCIA, CEH, GCIH, SCIH, SSCP, SCNP, GSNA, etc.
These positions will require the ability to attain a DoDD 8570.01-M certification (i.e. Network+, Security+, CISSP, etc.) and the ability to hold that certification in active status.
A Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Network or Computer Engineering; Computer Science; Information Assurance; or a related field or a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Network or Computer Engineering; Computer Science; Information Assurance or a related field is needed for most positions. However, for some positions relevant experience performing similar work may be substituted for educational requirements.
Minimum Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI (many positions will also require a polygraph and/or the willingness to take and pass a polygraph)
