The job will involve many aspects of the systems and software lifecycle requiring working with software development leads and customers. This position is responsible for ensuring that the delivered systems meet customer requirements. This will involve aspects of operations, customer interaction, requirements gathering, program management, system design, and quality assurance.
This position involves problem solving by working with customers to understand the problems, then designing the solutions, and communicating the envirsioned solution to development leads, and following through with customers to see that the delivered solutions operate properly.
This position requires experience engineering systems with computer workstations and servers along with software including installation, configuration, and operation. These systems specifically deal with computer network analysis and requires expertise in this area along with a capability to perform data analysis. Specific platforms include Linux, Windows, Dell PowerEdge servers, specialized PCI cards and other specialized hardware. Candidates must be able to use Linux, high familiarity with system administration, TCP/IP network analysis, and be able to perform in an agile environment.
At least 5 years of experience is required for this position.
Experience with C++ or Java programming, signals, and telephony, is considered a plus, but not required.
Candidates must be eligible for TS/SCI security clearance.
