Possess a current in-depth technical knowledge of the MQ-8B weapon system including: communications systems, payloads capabilities and functions, airframe, air vehicle propulsion system, avionics system, and all other functional components/systems. This is a direct on-site customer service and support position that represents the face of Northrop Grumman Fire Scout program to the customer.
Responsibilities include:
resolve general technical problems and answer queries from the customer regarding the GCS; resolve specific technical problems that prevent the MQ-8B Weapon System from accomplishing its mission; assist in the loading and offloading of MQ-8B equipment; maintain liaison with Northrop Grumman engineering, technical, and administrative personnel at the Fire Scout program facility in order to accomplish the assigned mission. Position requires 6 - 8 month OCONUS deployment. Prior to deployment the candidate will be assigned to the Fire Scout engineering facility in San Diego, California and/or Yuma, AZ Proving Ground in order to gain familiarity and technical expertise on the MQ-8B system. The Field Support Representatives should have prior technical field service experience. Active TS/SCI with full scope poly required. Position is contingent on contract award.
