Northrop Grumman Information Systems (NGIS) was selected by the U.S. Missile Defense Agency to participate on the Missile Defense National Team. This team was chartered to develop a Ballistic Missile Defense System for the United States. Air & Missile Defense Systems (A&MDS) serves as Northrop Grumman Information Systems' focal point for all activities associated with missile defense, including Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), simulation & modeling, systems engineering, and target discrimination. NGIS is looking for a Computer System Security Analyst 3 (Network Security Engineer) for their Colorado Springs, CO location.
Position Description:
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of DOD 8500 controls, DIACAP, and good communication skills. The candidate will be responsible for administering Active directory and integrating with security products like firewalls, IDS, HIDS, and NIDS. Basic Qualifications - Candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in Server Active Directory. 5-9 years experience in a related discipline with at least three years experience in administering Active Directory implementations in large, heterogeneous distributed systems. Experience administering Microsoft Windows Active Directory (Server 2003) in compliance with the appropriate DISA Security Technology Implementation Guides (STIGs). Candidate should be very familiar with using Group Policy to manage security settings and promulgate security policies to server, workstation, and user objects. Experience with integrating Linux/UNIX hosts into an Active Directory authentication infrastructure using LDAP and Kerberos technologies. Active Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications - Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE - must include AD test portion) is desired.
