| Engineer - Senior Clearcase Application Integrator |
|
Accepting applicants at multiple band levels. Candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of COTS SW applications for multiple development and test environments. Candidate must have proven expert level experience with Clearcase and Clearquest installation, configuration, and maintenance. Clearcase installation is Linux Redhat and Solaris 10 and Clearquest server is Windows with Linux/Solaris clients. Experience with Subversion, Eclipse, and Google Earth applications a plus. Must be able to demonstrate expert experience/knowledge in the following areas: * Standard Clearcase and Unified Configuration Management (UCM). * Debugging Clearcase Linux/Solaris compatibility issues. * Utilization and maintenance of Clearcase multi-tool. * One way and two way multisite implementation and maintenance. * Oracle Datastore and user account maintenance. * Configuring and maintaining Clearcase/Clearquest/Oracle backups via Veritas Netbackup. * IBM Passport Advantage and Rationale patch upgrades. * Clearcase/Clearquest triggers. * Troubleshooting/debugging of COTS SW applications. * Multitasking across several development and test environments. * Extensive knowledge of Software Configuration Management. Candidate should have experience providing software configuration management for baselines in accordance with program requirements. Candidate will maintain and implement software configuration management tools, software migrations, and integration of code. Creates and maintains build scripts used to facilitate the build, configuration, and reporting processes. Supports and follows software development methodologies, standards, and procedures. Collaborates with all Integrated Product Teams on schedules, milestones, and priorities. Band 4 engineers are expected to lead teams, provide mentoring and direction to junior administrators, and interface with Program customers. Band 3 engineers provide support to team lead and other administrators and interface with Program customers. 25% of travel required. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related discipline. DoD Secret clearance. Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related discipline. TS/SCI Clearance preferred. Common Job Description Analyzes, models, designs and simulates communications systems, subsystems, and algorithms for communication networks, data links, digital radio, battle management, and command and control systems such as wide and local area networks, point-to-point systems, secure systems, signal coding and modulation schema, digital radio/communications technology and network architecture design.
Typical Minimum Education / Experience:
