Trainee Training & Exercise Specialist
Trainee Training and Exercise Specialist in Homeland Defense/Homeland Security programs for Technical Services, to include the National Exercise Program (NEP) and various federal, state and local programs. Candidate will be called to work on a part-time/on-call basis to support specific, short-term requirements associated with preparedness exercises within any of the 10 FEMA Regions. Requirements (Essential skills/experience necessary to perform the work): * HSEEP training certificate * Experience with DHS HSEEP-compliant exercises at the state, regional, or federal level * Experience with DoD exercises * Minimum 1 year of emergency management training and/or exercise experience Assets: Competencies/Additional desired skills/pluses: * Incident Command System (ICS) Certifications * NIMS Certification * Experience in Multi-agency Command Centers Exact duty locations will be in various sites throughout the U.S. MULTIPLE POSITIONS. Security Clearance Required.
