| Engineer Logistics 4 |
|
Perform supportability and integrated logistics support efforts for multiple acquisition projects. Individual will be responsible for logistical analysis and modeling, hardware and/or software design assessments, and development of traditional logistics products and deliverables. Must interface with design engineering and customer working groups. Frequent interface with user community. Candidate will participate in all Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to implement supportability and logistics requirements on each program. Should have knowledge and/or experience in all logistics. Tasks include the conduct of planning, analysis, trade studies, assessments, requirements reviews, specification reviews, Life Cycle Cost, training, and publications. Strong background in Human Factors Engineering (HFE) is desired. Knowledge of manpower, personnel, training, safety, health hazards, soldier survivability, task skills analysis, training requirements, electronic publications and media, and maintenance concepts is required. This position will require travel within the continental US. Work will be performed at Sierra Vista, AZ and/or San Diego CA. Candidate must possess good communication skills, able to work independently and to schedule, develop products at a distance (not collocated with the equipment) using personnel interviews and available engineering documentation. A self starter, complete tasks on time without constant supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 10 years experience in related field 2. Candidate must be able to work independently as well as member of team. 3. Must be able to effectively present, communicate, and support logistics initiatives with multiple internal and external customers. 4. Must be able to travel as needed. 5. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Security Clearance. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
