Sterling is looking to hire a Network Engineer for a long term project in San Antonio, TX. Information about the role is listed below.
-Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience
-Top Secret Clearance
-Must have solid understanding of networking principles, multi-layer switching, routing and routing protocols, firewall principles, and load balancing principles.
-Must have knowledge of and experience working with Cisco IOS, CATOS, SAN-OS, NX-OS, and device specific operating systems for the ASA, FWSM, ACE, and GSS.
-Must have knowledge in supporting network connections to HP servers and ProLiant c-Class Blade Systems.
-Must have knowledge in networking Virtual systems (eg, VMWare) environment including fiber channel over ethernet.
-Candidate must have an understanding of load balancing server farms containing web and application servers.
