Join us on the edge* The Cutting Edge! Northrop Grumman Information Systems (NGIS) sector is seeking a Test Engineer 4 to join our team in defining the future. This position will be located in Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. The qualified applicant will support the Quality Engineering and System Assurance (QE&SA) Directorate of the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) with test and evaluation (T&E) and other technical services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Review Cannon Artillery Fire Control System, system software (SW) requirements * Develop system level SW test descriptions * Conduct system Level C laboratory testing of Cannon Artillery Fire Control System SW * Write SW problem change report * Write SW test reports * Testing will be conducted in both a laboratory environment and a field environment * Supported systems to include Paladin (M109A6), Paladin Improvement Program (PIM), M777 Digital Fire Control System (DFCS), M119 DFCS Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: * High School or GED is required * At least thirteen of total experience * At least six years of experience in field artillery * Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: * A Bachelors degree in a technical discipline preferred * A candidate with Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) experience preferred This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval. MULTIPLE POSITIONS. Security Clearance Required.
