| Computer Forensics Engineer |
|
Abraxas Corp is seeking a well rounded Computer Forensics Engineer/analyst with 3-5 years of experience supporting the intel community.
Responsibilities include:
TS/ISSA Required
-Digital forensic intelligence collection.
-Perform exploitation of digital media sources utilizing customer-produced and commercial forensic toolsets, including EnCase and Forensic Toolkit.
-Conduct research of software applications relating to various exploitation activities in support of government clients.
-Draft reports on work results for team coordination and dissemination.
Qualifications include:
* BS in technical field preferred.
* Interest in Technical Operations work.
* Knowledge of Internet based technologies including Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP). Comfortable with Linux based system administration, system security, and monitoring.
* Understands computer network operations. Able to properly convey technical concepts to a widely non-technical audience.
* Ability to travel OCONUS at least 25% of the time (could be up to 60 day TDYs at one time)
* Strong troubleshooting acumen
* Effective communications skill and style
* Strong understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation is a must; ideal candidate will have experience with complex TCP/IP networks
* Must a self-starter, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
