Administrative Assistant
The contractor shall provide administrative support services to CID Unit Chiefs. The contractor shall perform support tasks to include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provides support on issues relating to a wide range of administrative,
office management and program related matters that impact the
organizational workforce, office documentation, and financial
recording keeping.
• Responsible to the organization’s principle official for setting and
tracking schedules; arranging travel; setting meetings; recording and
preparing meeting summaries; receiving in-bound and preparing outbound
communications; filing records, publications and other
associated documents.
• Provides typing/word processing support (including spreadsheet
applications) to include composing internal and external
routine/nonroutine memos and correspondence with minimal direction;
obtaining appropriate approvals. May generate labels using mail
merge and graphs/tables using graphic software. Completes standard
office forms, budget documents, etc. Handles confidential subject
matter frequently.
• Opens, reviews, prioritizes and highlights incoming mail for
management review; responds to routine correspondence when
appropriate. Sends mail using appropriate mail carrier.
Sends/receives faxes and makes copies when needed.
• Assists with the preparation of final reports to include editing for
errors, prepares appropriate charts, graphs and computer based
presentations.
