|
Family of Advanced Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T) Program is seeking self-motivated waveform embedded software engineer to develop and integrate the waveform software for Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite Extended Data Rate (XDR) capability. Boeing's FAB-T provides protected and survivable communications over Mil-Star/AEHF Satellites.

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 6 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 20 or more years' experience, Master's with 18 or more years' experience or PhD with 15 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Other Job related information
This position requires at least 2 years of hand-on waveform application development experiences in at least one of the following areas: baseband data service, user data routing with encryption for high rate data/voice/text, access control, acquisition/tracking, modem configuration, RF subsystem, key management, GPS interface, or networking. Experience in development and integration of waveform software in XDR, MDR & LDR are highly desirable. This position also requires a minimum of 4 years embedded C++ development experiences using Real Time Operating System (RTOS) such as Integrity or VxWorks, and in-depth problem solving skill in real-time embedded platform/environment. Experiences in development and integration/troubleshooting of Software Communications Architecture (SCA) compliant components running on RTOS and CORBA are also highly desirable. The software engineer must be a quick learner, flexible in work schedule, and commitment to meet critical schedule milestones. Travel may be required to interface with customers and program related meetings, conferences, and briefings. Position requires Secret Clearance.
