Rome Research Corporation, a leader in Information Technology, Communications, Engineering, Information Management and Advanced Technology Services is seeking personnel to support the PACAF at Hickam AFB, HI and the PAC-TNOSC at Fort Shafter, HI. Specific positions/requirements include:
Program/Project Managers: Manage day-to-day contract activities. Use ITIL, Six Sigma and other Project Management standards. Responsible for IT operations such as Network Administration, System Administration, Help Desk, Configuration Management, and Information Assurance. Plans, directs and coordinates resource requirements, organizational requirements, and leadership requirements. Lead and direct cross functional teams to deliver projects within schedule, budget, and scope.
Information Assurance Personnel: Perform network intrusion detection and prevention. Implement and configure IA tools such as eEye Retina. Implement IA corrections where applicable. Ensure DISA STIGS are implemented and maintained. Detect, analyze, and mitigate poor security practices
Configuration Management Personnel: Ensure configurations on network/server equipment are correct and documented. Ensure all configuration changes have the appropriate approval. Ensure approved changes/upgrades are implemented timely.
Network Engineers/Administrators: Architect, implement, maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc. Monitor networks/servers to ensure high availability and security. Use network tools to correct bottlenecks and mitigate security risks.
System Engineers/Administrators: Ensure high availability of servers across the enterprise. Perform MS Exchange, MS Server, LINUX, and Solaris administration. Ensure permissions are set appropriately on groups, files and folders.
Help Desk Personnel: Tier I and Tier II positions needed. Assist network users with problems/anomalies. Use help desk tools such as Remedy to assign and track all trouble tickets. Escalate trouble tickets to the appropriate technicians when unsolvable at help desk technician level. Create network accounts and set permissions for users needing access to the network.
