- Resolves root causes of information technology incidents such as repeated software or hardware failures.
- Develops and oversees proactive processes that identify and resolves problems before incidents occur. Activities associated with these processes include trend analysis of repeated problems.
- Be familiar with techniques for identifying root causes such as the use of Ishikawa Diagrams, also known as cause and effect diagrams.
- Functions as a lead and provides input into the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes to meet client needs.
- Coordinates and facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore complex solutions.
- Coordinates business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provide project team member guidance/support throughout the project life cycle. Provides work guidance and mentoring to less experienced personnel.
- Participates and provides expertise in technical reviews.
- Provides time estimates for project related tasks.
- Prepares and delivers client and CSC reports as required.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, science, business administration or related field preferred
- Four or more years of experience in quality assurance
- Experience working with computer operations, scheduling software, and other related technologies
- Experience working with testing methodologies
- Experience working with principles of quality management, quality control, statistical analysis, ISO and six-sigma
