- Plans the rollout of customer software and hardware
- Designs and implements procedures for the distribution and installation of changes to customer IT systems and network infrastructure
- Effectively communicates and manages expectations of the customer during the planning and rollout of new software and hardware releases
- Controls the distribution and installation of changes to the customer's IT system and network infrastructure
- Oversees, plans and designs highly complex business processes and makes recommendations in order to improve and support business activities.
- Experience in running change or release management projects for IT environments
- Coordinates and facilitates meetings with clients on to gather and document requirements and explore complex solutions.
- Coordinates business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provides project team member guidance/support throughout the project life cycle. Provides work guidance and mentoring to less experienced personnel.
- Participates and provides expertise in technical reviews to verify the implementation of 'intent of change' through the entire project.
- Provides time estimates for project related tasks.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field preferred
- Nine or more years of networks or network planning experience
- Five or more years of supervisory experience included
- Experience working with voice/data communications equipment and transmission
- Experience working with network planning policies, procedures, and standards
- Experience working with networking software and hardware infrastructures
Other Qualifications
- Associate's Degree with two years of related experience or High School diploma with four years of specialized experience in related field, or Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with no experience.
- Associate's Degree in information systems, business process management, or related field preferred
- One or more years of information systems experience in Release Management, Change Management, Configuration Control Boards or Software/Hardware Delivery and Implementation preferred
- Experience working with the interface of information technology with functional groups within an organization
- Experience working with the implementation of company value propositions
