TSA Incident Manager 24X7 (Shift position)  
Title: Incident Manager 24x7


****This position will require shift work, 12 hour shifts, Saturday through Tuesday OR Thursday through Sunday, 7 am to 7pm or 7pm to 7 am with alternating Wednesdays.

 


 

 Hiring for this position is contingent upon contract award.  Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience supporting U.S. Department of Homeland Security/TSA.  Base of operations will be in Arlington, VA but opportunities will be available for work locations throughout the Greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.

Essential Job Functions - Eligibility for Secret Clearance required.  Must be US Citizen in order to pass a suitability background check


  • Acts as first level responder to major incidents involving outages to customer information technology equipment and network infrastructure.
  • Coordinates and facilitates Incident Management resolution with customer and CSC staff.
  • Restores normal service operation as quickly as possible to minimize the impact on business operations
  • Establishes an Incident Record within the designated information system and updates the record as necessary to maintain incident tracking.
  • Understands Service Level Agreements in place between CSC and the customer.
  • Provides time estimates for project related tasks.

 


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred


  • Four or more years of information systems experience


  • Experience working with customer technology and support requirements


  • Experience working with the technology industry





Other Qualifications

 


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with five years of related experience. Equivalents: High School diploma with nine years of specialized experience in related field, or Associate's Degree with seven years of experience, or Master's Degree with three years experience, or Doctorate Degree with one year experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer systems engineering, information systems, or related field preferred
  • Two or more years of information technology or business analysis experience
  • Two or more years experience in an IT Service Delivery organization preferred
  • ITIL Foundations certification a plus .
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Ability to translate technical language into client language
  • Ability to lead and work in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
