| Network Engineer/Systems Engineer |
|
Design and deploy a global Enterprise Management System (EMS) solution consisting of infrastructure and software services that will enable the modernization of an embedded base of installations/applications. The Engineer will provide technical support across all functional areas, for large- and small-scale systems, integrated into a federal government customer environment.
Candidates applying for this position must possess at least five years of applicable experience as an Integration\Deployment Engineer working on technical Government projects. The candidate’s breadth of working knowledge and experience should include most, if not all, of the following areas:
• Performance analysis and reporting using tools such as Concord eHealth Suite and/or OpenView Performance Insight (OVPI)
• ITIL Service Desk (HelpDesk) tool suites such as Remedy, Service Desk and/or Peregrine
• Enterprise Management technologies such as HP OpenView Operations and/or BMC Patrol
• Platform implementation planning of Centralized and Distributed architectures in large enterprise environments
• Strong verbal (presentation) and written communication skills
• Understanding and documenting customer requirements
The selected candidate may also be expected to assume surrogate line-management responsibilities, when required. Candidates for this position who are open to some local and out of state travel during deployment operations are preferred.
The selected Integration/Deployment Engineer will work with project-engineering staff to define and document project, system, and software processes, as well as to develop work aids/instructions and tools to support process implementation. Project responsibilities may also include establishing, maintaining, and implementing metrics artifacts, collecting, analyzing and reporting technical as well as performance data.
Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI clearance, with lifestyle polygraph. |
