The candidate wil provide Senior Systems Management support for the USAFCENT Trusted Thin Client (TTC) program in network operations, including any combination of the following:

•Responsibilities include managing Trusted Thin Client Support team which includes monitoring and maintaining 24/7/365 day readiness and operational status of the TTC suit of systems to ensure optimal performance;
•Support the backup and recovery of the end-to-end system which includes but is not limited to Microsoft and Red Hat Linux based systems, Servers, Thin Clients, SAN storage devices, C4I applications, Office Automations Services, and multiple classification domains;
•Perform all repair, patch, fix or replacement of existing hardware and software;
•Maintain and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all suites and infrastructure as required for the production system, development environments, exercise environments, and training environments on GFE-provided network, hardware and services;
•Maintain all as-built/integration notes, and build documentation, as well as maintain a Master Station Log (MSL) of all administrative activities performed on the system;
•Maintain and semi-annually publish a Comprehensive As-Built System Engineering Plan;
•Assist in providing prioritized service restoration during outages to hardware/software designated as critical;
•Maintain configuration consistency across all locations and across all systems;
•Provides Tier 2 Help Desk support for the end-to-end system;
•Support all TTC users from all geographic locations within the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility;
•Provide 24/7, 365 days/year troubleshooting and problem resolution of the system and FTE provided hardware, services, and networks; and
•Provide training and materials for system administrators and users as required.


REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
•Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Information Systems or a related field
•Minimum of 8 years experience providing Operational and Engineering support, which includes: Systems Management Support, IT Security Support, IT Monitoring and Reporting Support, Help Desk Support and Troubleshooting and Maintenance Support.
•Minimum of 4 years experience utilizing VMware vSphere, Citrix XenApp, Boeing Prephix, Citrix XenDesktop, vSwitch and DVS, Cisco Nexus and UCS, Cisco IOS, Network Appliance, EMC, Dell, and Raytheon Trusted Thin Client.

CERTIFICATIONS:
•Security+ or CISSP Certification required
•Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) required
•Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) preferred

CLEARANCE: Minimum of an Active DoD Secret clearance required
